Divine by Pollogen is a treatment that combines Micro needling with radio frequency using a new technology for treating wrinkles, flaccidity, bags under the eyes, scars and stretch marks. It is also an excellent technology for the complementary treatment of alopecia and other skin diseases such as vitiligo.

This technique combines the traditional micro needling (which we have discussed in one of our previous blogs), consisting of microscopic punctures of the skin, that generates a controlled and regular wound that promotes natural healing, forms new collagenous and elastic fibres. However, in this case radio frequency is also added, generating heat to the tissues and promoting the generation of new collagen and elastin fibres.

This combination of controlled micro wounds and heat will stimulate the fibroblasts of the dermis, generating a self-repair, that tones and gives volume to the dermis, leaving the skin incredibly smooth and firm.

This is one of the few treatments where we can perform an amazing treatment of the area around the eyes, eliminating bags under the eyes, wrinkles and flaccidity.

The combination of controlled wounds and heat will stimulate the fibroblasts and the dermis will enter a natural phase of repair eliminating any type of acne scar, as well as the residual spots from the acne, in an even more effective way than micro-needling was used alone.

What to expect during the treatment?

This treatment is performed by first using an anesthetic cream which makes it a comfortable a tolerable treatment.
During the treatment, the patient will feel a bit of pressure on the skin when the needles are released. Sometimes, after the treatment, in order to nourish the skin some products could be applied because there are microscopic channels that would allow excellent absorption to the dermis.

It does not require recovery time. After the procedure, the skin is a bit red and inflamed for around 48 hours. In the days after the treatment you will see pin-point scars on the skin that will disappear in 7-10 days. At the same time, during this period, the skin will feel dry and should be kept perfectly hydrated.

This procedure can be performed in any type of skin, even the very dark ones. However, it is not indicated for patients with active rosacea or acne, skin infections or skin cancer.

This procedure is one of the best and more complete treatments for skin resurfacing because it not only regenerates the dermis but also renews the cells of the epidermis and leaves the skin incredibly smooth and firm, without scars and spots.
